I want to calculate the capacity factor for various R.T.s for that i need dead time t0 i.e. the average time a solvent molecule needs to pass the column and it can be measured using thiourea. Can anyone help to with it?

I have injected the sample of thiourea onto C18-colum, 4.6mm i.d, 5 micron particale size and 25 cm in length using mobile phase 75:25 (Methanol: Water) and flow rate is 1ml/min. Now the unretained peak is coming out to at RT 0.538 and retention time of thiourea is at RT 2.508. (does this makes any relevance to the t0)
