I am looking for resources that providing updated management tools and also innovation for business administration. Apart from academic journals, are there any interest sources to recommend?
MindTools, with a website at https://www.mindtools.com/home (and an application on the App Store), offers a wide range of skill-building resources focused on management, leadership, and personal excellence.
12manage, with a website at https://www.12manage.com/, offers an equally wide range of resources in business administration and management.
Both MindTools and 12manage requires membership, for free in the latter instance.
Your question is perhaps a litlle to broad. Perhaps you can make it short thinking in the industry you are studying or the function (planning, leading, etc). After doing that, i would recommend to see for the authors that specific area.
If you are beginning to study business administration, my rather "classic" advice would be: read one of Koontz&O´Donnell books and afterwards go to the subjects you need.
First of all, define the specific field in business administration you are interested in (marketing, operations, finance, human resources, strategic planning, innovation management), the related industry, and what about it. Then come back with a question.
There are a lot of management tools to be used for business administration, such as, Strategic Planning, Customer Relationship Management, Employee Engagement Surveys, Benchmarking and Balanced Scorecards.
Apart from Articles and Books, a great source of BA information comes from company reports. However, interpretation is required, else it will just be data. Referring to BA tools, theories and practices, a company's website can provide more vaild information than blogs. For example, Tesla published thier own Business Model Canvas, etc.
If you are a student, still pursuing a degree of some sort, books and articles are your best bet for 'valid' information. And while most are not aware, your university or institution login credentials can be used to access more academic libraries than are initially told to you.
As Mr. Colmenares, Mr. Izar, Mr. Judeh and I have said, the question is to broad. Just to show you a picture of that, I read yesterday that by 2014 ther were more than 2000 books of management per year, so imagine the huge amount of tools available. Think about it.
Estamos en cuarta revolución industrial, era de la robótica, de full comunicación por la nube, en consecuencia las herramientas están allí, las nuevas paradigmas que han nacido en estos tiempos de la pandemia, por su puesto el creador y operador es el talento humano,...
It´s an extremely wide question! You must focus the area of business administration you are interested in. Each area have a lot specialized texts, blogs, tools and models.
