I’m trying to find an association between the Hounsfield Unit in CT and the stiffness of the tissue in terms of equations or statistics. I need it in order to find a logical relation/proportion between the HU extracted from the CT and the stiffness/Young’s moduli of the tissue. I've found many references stating that the existence of "calcification" leads to stiffness of the tissue, hence there exists a linear proportionality as well as positive regression between those parameters. However, I'm concerned about whether there is a quantified example which leads to an rational equation or not.

Thanks in advance.
