I have already downloaded a real data for cancer but each file is 12.8GB so i can not upload the data on galaxy tool, i am also a begineer in bioinformatics i can not work with shell. any one can help???
It is not clear from your post what the problem is. If the issue is the file sizes which you can't upload to galaxy, you can deploy galaxy locally to side step the upload issue. Depending on the source of the data you want to download there might be different options. Or, is the question about which sources you can use find the data.
Mahmoud Ahmed i am asking if there another method to use for uploading data on galaxy other than galaxy ftp server, if not. From wherr can i download simulated data or even real but small in size, it is my first time to work with this project i just want to see the output of each stage regardless what data i am using. Thanks
In this case, you can deploy galaxy locally and avoid uploading through ftp. I know that The Cancer Genome Atlas includes CNV, you should check it out.
