Hi Muhammad, even without simscape you can use simulink for converter modelling. From more accurate (but slow) to less accurate (but fast) simulation you can: 1) model the diodes/mosfets as ideal switches and the passive components with differential equations; 2) average the differential equations over the switching period (nonlinear averaged model); or 3) linearise the averaged model around a particular operating point.
