I would like to know whether random sampling is used for experimental research. Actually, how experimental research can be conducted. If anyone direct me, I would appreciate your assistance.

If your experimental research is in the context of social science e.g. quantitative research on cause & effect analysis, then random sampling is required for your experimental and control groups in order to generalize your findings to the whole population. Note: these 2 experimental research are at conceptual level for me to brain dump the ideas I conceived and not gone through empirically study yet.
