Hello experts

I am trying to do a case-control analysis in Stata 17 and the ratio of case to control is 1:5.

I tried to convert the data from long to wide format to do the McNmaar test and paired t-test but I could not do that. It gives me a message: There are observations within

i(pairid) with the same value of j(case). In the long data, variables i() and j() together must uniquely identify the observations.

It worked well when the case-to-control ration is 1:1.

Any one can give me an idea how to do it when the ratio is 1:4?

Thanks
