I am trying to analyse an impedance spectra using the gamry software. Previously I have only look at these spectra qualitatively.
The circuit is a carbon foam on an ITO substrate. I am trying to build a model based on a constant phase element with diffusion(CPE.png). At the moment adding these elements in series (CPEx2.png) improves the quality of the fit though I'm struggling with the rational behind the circuit. On top of these difficulties I'm seeing a increase in the phase at high frequencies which makes my fit difficult.
I've included the frequency impedance and phase in an excel sheet. Any help/suggested reading would be great. Thanks
This seems to fit the data well. It has an included parallel element to account for uncovered ITO in the system. The only issue is component errors seem to be large. Probably due to the number of components in the system. Any ways of tweeking this?
