I try to simulate the diffusion process of chloride into the concrete using mass diffusion analysis in Abaqus. In this analysis I need to input the initial condition (temperature and concentration). I use Abaqus CAE but, I confused to where to input the initial concentration for my model. Can anyone help me to solve this problem?
Abaqus does not provides us an option to add Concentration as initial value. So, you have to define a step of mass diffusion where you can enter the initial values followed by your analysis step in which you modify the values. However, temperature can be input as initial values or you can do it in the same step as for concentration. Hope this helps.
Thank you for the answer and suggestion. I'll try as you suggested. However, I thought it will be complicated to use ABAQUS for my simulation. I ask another question in this forum and some researchers gave me advice to use COMSOL Multiphysics. I hope this software can be an alternative solution to solve my problems.
