Dear Docker community,
I'm a beginner at using molecular docking, and I'm facing a problem when I want to open or drop a pdb file on Autodock tools. The folder is saved with the extension.pdb; however, it cannot be run on ADT because it generates an error message.
I don't know how I can deal with such a problem; I need your urgent help.
did you try opening with autodock Vina/chimera/discovery studio ?
open with chimera and do energy minimisation, would help in to clear the issue with the structure
are u trying to open a pdb file from PDB?
during save add .pdbqt and then look it. maybe your problem sort. or you update or reinstall python compatible

I first downloaded the protein structure from PDB, and then I’ve used the Discovery studio to clean it (from the ligands and other molecules that are already attached to the structure)
Then I saved the cleaned structure under a pdb format, however this format wasn’t read by ADT AT FIRST, but after trying some tricks I succeeded to solve the bug.
