I did XRD of my powder alloy samples, I got major peak of all samples with different concentration but beside major peaks some small distortion peaks, I think the high entropy alloy powder hasn't been well crystallized after 45hrs mechanical alloying (Ball milling). How can I improve the crystallinity of my powder alloy sample.?

If you attached the XRD pattern, it would be easier to answer your question; however, if you got major peaks of all elements it probably means your solid solution HEA hasn't formed and you have to continue the MA process for more than 45 hrs. In addition, you can manipulate other parameters such as reducing PCA amount to accelerate the alloying process.

As you may know, HEAs are crystalline materials that comprise several elements. besides, mechanical alloying does not make a structure more crystalline!!! so, further alloying will actually induce more distortion in your alloy. now, if your problem is that your desired HEA composition is not yet synthesized (and still the peaks of the pure elements are present in XRD), you shall continue your milling. but if you want to decrease the distortion in your structure and increase order (which you wrongly named as crystallinity), you should apply a heat treatment. the temperature and timing of HT are critical, given that it may cause the formation of secondary phases.
