My Dear Nafaa Shebani, Usually EI 30 is being calculated. If you are intrested than please write back. You can also see one of my publication on RG too. Regards
Article Probability analysis of rainfall for planning water harvesti...
What are you after - a time series of 1 minute rainfall values, or the probability distribution of 1 minute rainfall values. My guess is the later - if the former, then you cannot reliably do this. I also assume that you are starting from daily rainfall (you really need to give a lot more information in the question). If this is the case, then you are trying to extrapolate the rainfall exceedence curve from daily to minutely scale - i.e. estimate what the exceedence curve would look like if you had 1 minute resolution data. While this is possible, it does depend on your assumptions about how rainfall is distributed at a finer temporal scale.
It is a standard method of funnel & Jar. Higher diameter funnel and smaller diameter Jar. The volumetric water gathered in a Jar to be converted into volume with the area of funnel opening and the height of new volume in a observed time is rain fall which can be converted per minutes by dividing observed time in minutes
