If sometime series data sets are in fiscal year, and other sets are in calender year, it will mislead our findings. So how can I convert them into a same order?
With the fiscal year conversion, you can adjust the SAP fiscal year to the calendar year. This is necessary when you have introduced a shortened fiscal year and now the SAP fiscal year precedes the calendar year.
Example Example
In the past, your company's fiscal year started on October 1 and ended on September 30. Now you want the fiscal year to coincide with the calendar year. To do this, you introduce a shortened fiscal year that starts on October 1 and ends on December 31 of the same year. This would appear as follows for the years 2010 to 2012:
SAP fiscal year 2011: 2010-10-01 to 2011-09-30
SAP fiscal year 2012: 2011-10-01 to 2011-12-31 (shortened fiscal year)
SAP fiscal year 2013: 2012-01-01 to 2012-12-31
In calendar year 2012, fiscal year 2013 is already valid in the SAP system, in calendar year 2013, the fiscal year 2014 and so on. You can remove this difference, which can be quite puzzling and inconvenient for users. After the conversion, the fiscal year will correspond to the calendar year again. All past fiscal years have been reduced by the value 1.
