I tried to melt the Li foil in glove box but I cannot do it. I saw temperatures beyond 300 to 450 degrees Celsius but it didn't melt. I regenerated my glove box in order to reduce the oxygen level but the oxygen level was not getting reduced under 0.5 ppm. I have seen some references and they said to maintain O2 level below 0.1 ppm in order melt the Li foil without getting oxidized. Can someone help me out with this? Thanks in advance.
