Hello Everyone, I'm a master's student and I'm currently working with drosophila melanogaster mutants. Right now I have a mutant that has dark spots in various regions of the fly's body (in the larval stage and in the adult fly). According to some literature, I think they possibly are necrotic spots or melanocytic tumors. However, I still haven't been able to find an adequate technique that would allow me to define and characterize these dark spots as a tumor. I would be grateful if anyone could please help me.   Best Regards, Bruna Oliveira
