I am simulating a periodic structure and I want to observe S11 at different angle of incidence. I have changed the plane wave electric field direction which has not changed direction of electric fields in 2D/3D results and even the S11 value. But I got some file (attached here) where the polarization is controlled but the procedure is not mentioned there. Is there anyone to solve this problem ??? please...
it is better to use floquet port instead of wave port. and after you can change the incident angle.
CST has a template for periodic structures. In this template, unit cell boundary conditions and floquet ports are defiened by default. You can change theta and phi in the parameter list.

I am getting my desired result in CST both using the template and unit cell boundary along with floquet port excitation.
I applied the waveguide port in both Z- directions
PEC- X axis
PMC- Y axis
OPEN-Z axis
I want check the absorption for different incident angles for TE and TM Modes.
But when I tilt the waveguide port
then all angles found same absorption.
