Hi all, I am trying to calculate for a particular location the correction factor for overhangs and fins. My problems is that the formula in my version of ISO 13790 give strange values.
Fov= (Fov,dir Rdir + Fov,dif Rdif + 1 - Rtot)/Rtot
where R es la radiación F factores de reducción dir for direct and dif for diffuse
Normally, Rtot = Rdif + Rdir
For example if there is no overhang. Fov,dir=Fov,dif=1
Thus, Fov= ( Rdir + Rdif + 1 - Rtot)/Rtot = 1/Rtot . However, the factor should be igual to 1 if there is no overhang.
If anyone have the answer and a reference where i can verify the formulae, i would be muy grateful.

I do not know about the standards you have stated. I understand that you have to consider the net solar insolation considering the shadow of fins on the collector. Is it correctly understood?
