How much ammonium to nitrate conversion has observed and how much nitrification percentage inhbited in response to application of nitrification inhibitors?
There is a method that has been used to look at the potential inhibition of nitrification from environmental pollutants - it is based in a substrate induced nitrification (ie nitrification potential), so rates would be higher than in normal soil with limiting concentrations of ammonium, but may give you an idea of incubation conditions etc- see reference below.
