I would like to calculate the magnetic force on a Fe304 particle which is into a liquid solution . The magnet is above the solution , and there is no electricity.
I found this formula : F = (V *Δχ * ∇Β *Β )/ μ.
I dont know if it is correct and how could I estimate Δχ and ∇Β.

First the order of size of the Fe3O4 particles ?
I think the Fe3O4 will not be in molecular form when dissolved. Because, there is a high chance of being ionised in solution.

For this you can refer a paper in which exact formula is given for force calculation. I think you are talking about microfluidic device.
