I am using particle size analyser that it gives me D5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 and 100. I know that the PDI formula is (sigma or sd/mean)2 but my device dose not give me these data (mean, sd, z-average). Would you please kindly let me know how can I calculate it?

To calculate the mean and the width, you need to find a distribution that fits your data accurately., It could be Guassian or log-normal or one of the other standard size distributions that are used in particle size analysis. Once you have the formula, you can fit your data using Excel (the Solver add-in) and obtain the mean, the disribution width, etc.
Thank you so much, you do not know how much I am thankful and you do help me. I found the easyfit software based on your recommendation. Then, I wrote my data (all size and intensity). I choose log-normal for distribution and it gives me mean and sd. so I calculated PDI with the formula (sd/m)2.
