I'm carrying out polymer translocation thru a solid state nanopore using coarse grained molecular dynamics simulations (CGMDS) using LAMMPS. I wish to calculate ionic blockade current that arises due to movement of ion from cis to trans side thru the nanapore. The problem that I'm facing is that, say, I have 100 KCl beads (50 K+ and 50 Cl-) the event is so random that the chances of any bead getting to the other side thru the pore are very less. Through this paper Article DNA base detection using a single-layer MoS2

, I got to know such a thing has been done using All Atom MD. Can anyone please help me out with this? How can I calculate blockade current using CGMDS?

Regards

Akshay
