It should be possible to induce germination also on slides or agar plates. I have already tried different methods: aqueous solution, film of water on slide, nutrient solution with dextrose, water-agar plates and so on. But no germination occurs (histochemical studies worked). Somewhat difficult is to realize 100 % relative humidity. Maybe that’s the problem. The objective is to test inhibiting effects of various plant extract samples compared to water.

Many thanks in advance!
