I'm particularly interested in the legal debate on this topic, that is, how were the regulations evaluated as presenting feasible strategies, viable procedures and methods for a successful implementation.
In Brazil we have a recent law that stipulates our solid waste policy, which deals with the reverse logistics for electronic waste. Do you have an overview of Europe on this issue, the difficulties and potential of its implementation? Best Regards, Luiz Faria
I am aware of the PNRS in Brazil, thank you. Actually, I am a Brazilian researcher at RUG (Netherlands) and I am currently working on a comparative study between the WEEE and Packaging European Directives and the PNRS, concerning these 2 waste streams. Unfortunately I am facing some difficulties to get acquainted with the legal writings about the WEEE directive. But I could share some of the data I already came across, in case you're interested. If you'd like to know more about my research, please check here http://www.rug.nl/staff/h.f.mas/
I am also interested to know more about the current facts of the PNRS in Brazil. Since I'm not there anymore, it is harder to be familiar with the most recent academic discussions on the topic.
