Improving the knowledge of communities about the environment is an important stage in the development of public opinion about sustainable development. Nowadays, environmental protection and ecological problems are important challanges of a global scale, which require the attention of not only experts in this field, but also a broad public movement aimed directly at maintaining an ecologically-balanced development of the environment. It is important to mention that socio-economic processes as the leading phenomena of sustainable development occur on the surface of the planet and are spatially dependent on the environment. Therefore, it is important to bring to the attention of students the importance of eco-friendly decisions in the economy, as well as the introduction of more nature-based approaches in relation to ecology.
