As strategy is borrowed from military which is to do effectively in a new situation. In teaching while applying effective and innovative strategies will contribute to effective learning.
1. Students need orientation towards the topic, followed by active engagement, collaboration among fellow students, critical thinking about the topic.
2. The teacher should facilitate and in teaching-learning approaches, the student should not be passive. Problem based learning, Research as a pedagogical tools are some of the approaches which can be adopted for effective learning.
3. Problems can be coined in a way which prompt the students to carry out research, think critically, learn techniques of data analysis.
4. A blend of conventional and modern tools can be used as blended learning for engaging the students.
Whatever the diversity of modern teaching strategies differ, the quality, nature, purpose, content, level of learners and the specificities of each classroom environment remain the defining of which strategy we use.
An energetic and genuinely interested teacher is a good start. A mix of digital technologies with traditional reading and responding (in English classes) along with plenty of opportunities to practise also seems a good place to begin.
Effective teaching strategy is the one that engages, motivates, and boosts their learning skills. It is the skill and art of a teacher to design, change, and implement whatever is in best interest of his/her students in that particular class. Classroom is all about change taking place from moment to moment, therefore effective teachers manipulate their teaching methods accordingly sometimes even there and then depending upon the requirement of the learners. Action research sometimes prove extremely beneficial to discover new experiences of teaching and learning.

Students will not learn complex tasks in a single session, They learn by applying what they have been told and shown. Every time practice occurs, learning continues. The good educator must repeat important items of subject matter at reasonable intervals and provide opportunities for the students to practice while making sure that this process is directed towards learning something new.
Active learning depends on the use of a range of instructional strategies to allow students to speak, listen, read, write, learn, think through problem exercises, create informal small groups, simulations, case studies, role plays and other activities that require students to apply what they are learning in practice, Several studies indicate that students' learning is enhanced when students actively engage in various activities in the learning process, and educational strategies in which students are involved.
An effective strategy makes one who teaches. Even a boring topic can be disassembled so that among the students there are those who continue to study this topic.
Measuring student "learning" is the key issue in this discussion. if the goal is student factual learning, there is no need for modern teaching strategies (that is, established and efficient telling/lecturing works). However, if student learning goes beyond to mean problem solving, application, a deep conceptual understanding, then modern teaching strategies including problem-based learning and conceptual change are necessary for almost all learners.
