I am doing a qualitative systematic review of the experience/ perceptions of radiographers in engagements in research activities, but my issue I Cannot find qualitative studies although I found titless of studies talking about the knowledge or opinions of radiographers when I read these articles deeply I discover that authors have used Likert scale or structured questionnaire then the study has been analyzed quantitatively, so the study not qualitative, what should I do?

Dear Salma,
Search articles in google scholar or any databases with your keywords in double quotations. for eg., "radiography" "qualitative" . it will show the specific studies as per your need.
It seems that you are looking at a gap in literature. It is good news, isn't it?
Review your search strategy. Try using broader search terms related to the experiences and perceptions of radiographers/ other health care professionals in research activities. Sometimes, using more general terms can yield a wider range of studies, including qualitative ones.
And don't limit your search to peer-reviewed journals. Grey literature, such as conference proceedings, theses, and reports, may contain relevant qualitative studies.
Otherwise, I'd suggest looking at studies in your field that use framing analysis. It's a very neat method to analyze interviews and similar qualitative data.

Search in google scholar . It shows 1,22,000 results for "radiography" "qualitative". get some specific studies relevant to you. ain that studies, they gave references...you can cross reference it.

Dear Anna, Thanks for your clear explanation. BUT , I wonder about studies have titles seem qualitative study ( opinion, experiences) and in methods section have written quantitative data or sometimes mixed methods😐
Salma Alhajeri I guess you'd need to use the "advanced search" function.
In some cases, you may decide to include studies that have both qualitative and quantitative components but clearly report the qualitative findings. However, you should clearly document and justify this decision in your review.
