You can just create a google scholar account, link it to your institutional account, and add your article details manually.

I have already google scholar account. I have also added that research article manually but it doesn't update the citations because my previous papers are citated in the manually added article.

I have the same problem with one of my article, and I couldn't also link the paper from my RG account to the Google scholar account.

I think there's different platforms for each ( research gate and Google scholar).

Yes Dr Rand H. M. Agha both are different platforms. Google scholar tracks the and links the research papers to the GS account from RG sometimes, if their format matches.
