Attached is an example of my problem. The different names listed in Column A need to be the headings of columns in a new table, with ALL the corresponding values listed under the appropriate headings in the table. Can anyone help? I can't figure it out although it seems like such a simple problem.

try to make use of macros. just do it once and record the macro. then repeat macros for all headings. hope you can use this way.

did you try by using filter in excel? Perhaps you may create a db with all of data and work on access instead of excel

You have to add a temporary column for numbering data, then apply pivot table
