By referring to the sketch pump curve attached, pump is designed when a flow rate and head are given. but how to make sure the pump will function at that flow rate as the impeller rotate at almost constant speed with constant power input? Is the flow rate control by the valve, so that when the pump rotates, it will reach the flow rate (which is controlled by valve)? If not, how can the pump function with the given flow rate?
