Could you explain what you want to do? An interaction term is a multiplicative term in an additive model, so your question as it is presently phrased makes no sense to me.
You can test an interaction in SPSS by addition an interaction term manually (by computing a new variable that is the product of the predictors of interest) or through certain menu or syntax options in some SPSS commands.
I know to calculate interaction by spss. But in related articles I see that the additive interaction and multiplicative interaction also reported as Pvalue, odds (95% CI). But as I know just the SAS software calculates these. my question is:
Is it necessary to calculate the Pvalue, odds (95% CI) for additive and multiplicative interaction in all interaction studies? and Is it possible to run these by the SPSS also?
Hello there, just in case someone is interested in SPSS 23, it is now available in cloud with 30-day free trial and great price after. take a look at https://www.apponfly.com/en/ibm-spss-statistics-base?KAI
