I study about biological aspect of biosensors; bioreceptors and attachment of biological element.

I want to know about immobolizatin of element… for example what happens in microencapsulation? How covalent bonding formed? Which atoms have interactions? And …

I wanted to know more about the basic rather than research literature.I would be appreciate it if anyone could help me with some references or explanation here a bout them (coupling mechanism, covalent encapsulation, matrix immobilization, membrane encapsulation, physical adsorption fabrication , …)
