1. Pay attention to the credibility of the journal in which you allow your article to be published. The more credible the journal, the more you are likely to have your research noticed by serious researchers.
2. Make sure grammar, spelling and structure are impeccable. If necessary, hire a proofreader to go over it.
3. Make sure any statement you make that is likely to be challenged is footnoted reference to an established authority. Of course, the final conclusions must be your own.
