The numerical simulation method such as Particle Flow Code(PFC 3D) may be used for simulating post failure behavior of the slope failure/land slides. The micro parameters such as normal stiffness (kn), tangential stiffness (ks) and coefficient of friction (fric) are used as inputs. How are these three parameters obtained from the experiments and analytical models? Are they just assumed?

They are not assumed. Before any DEM simulation you need to do the calibration. You can get these parameters from simple experiments like direct shearing test or uniaxial compression.
