Some researchers have reported the role of additives in the phase transformation of polymorphic compounds. Reports are telling that this additives are playing major role in the transformation of phase and are not getting in to the structure of the compound. Can anyone suggest me how this is happening?

It's hard to answer this question without knowing what specific polymorphic compounds and additives you have in mind. The influence of additives may be different for different systems.
Generally I would expect that the pathway of a polymorphic transformation may be influenced by the interaction of the compound with the surface of the additive. For example one of the polymorphic forms of the compound may be preferentially stabilized on this surface.

I have mentioned about the polymorph of an amino acid glycine. The additives are lithium nitrate, sodium formate and cesium chloride. Could you please suggest me an idea to carry out further investigation of glycine compounds
Additives can effect phase transitions in a number of ways. They can act as nucleation sites, lowering the activation energy for the transformation. Inversely they can act to slow the kinetics of a phase transformation as the newly formed phase will continually build up a high concentration of the additive around the growth front, which can either pin the growth or limit the growth rate due to the diffusion rate of the additive. There are many many possible mechanisms.
What you write about glycine is still enigmatic for me. Do these additives used at once influence the phase transformations of glycine, or each has its distinct effect? What method do you use for the observation of the transformations?
