How accurate is the measurement of grain size using XRD?

I want to know the ways to improve the accuracy.

By using a XRD pattern, one can determine the mean size of a microcrystalline, i.e., less of equal to 1um, by applying a mathematical relationship that was originally derived by Sherrer [1]. So, in order to confirm the size accuracy of the microcrystalline, you ought to examine the microcrystalline by a TEM. it would be helpful to refer to the attached article on;
