I think you can extract the features using different techniques from both normal and abnormal cases of OCT to analyse the features contributing to different abnormalities.
I am physicist not ophthalmologist, then I can't help you in diagnosis.
But, in the wider rectangle on OCT, is there Henle's layer visible?
If so, it is quite strange for this condition of imaging the retina, isn't it? But I guess it is not related to the orientation of HL fibres but is rather related to disease (HL relaed?).
