When life is less important than a number, we face such horrendous situations. Even one death in Custody of the Government - any Government - is a cause of much concern but is watered down systematically by the forces that matter.
Kirstein Nielsen should have been herself be held in custody till she gave not only an appropriate answer to the numbers but also to the certified medical and jurisprudence autopsy for each death -- certified by a medical process above the long arms of the Government. In the US of A, certified medical doctors have participated in the systematic torture of detainees in Guantanamo Bay and elsewhere.
