Thanks for all contributions! Just to sum up, including communications made aside this discussion: First, it came out that these "power supplies" are just pulsing units. Anyway, we have purchased them plus 1.5kW power supplies and are going to test them in coming weeks - I will share the experience. The reasons of the final decision was that we didn't want to pay for excessive power (2" magnetrons + small sample holder) and that I wanted fully independent setting of the afterpulse (delay, voltage, length). As far as I know, these two requirements are not met by other suppliers.

There is a power supply company with a name of Zpulser, they are professional on the Hipims power supply, they have three types, Hipims, MPPMS and DOMS .There are more details http://zpulser.com/

Thanks again for all contributions. Yes, Ionautics introduced a labo scale bipolar hipims power supply Hipster1, I haven't tested it yet but I agree that the expertise of the Linkoping group is well renowned so I would recommend it, too.

Regarding the Starfire equipment we purchased via Lesker cca 2 years ago, it works +/- as expected. There are just one systematic drawback: the pulsing unit is not able to let the DC input just go through so for the DC sputtering it must be reconnected or switched.
