I am just wondering whether I am interpreting the Odd's Ratio correctly. So for example if I look at anxiety (X) predicting criminal behaviour (Y) and perform a logistic regression analysis, and the OR is 5.04, can I say that anxiety is related to an increase of 5.04 in the odds of criminal behaviour?

Yes, I think your interpretation is correct. More technically, you can also say that for a one-unit increase in anxiety the odds of your indicator of criminal behaviour being positive increase by factor 5.04.
