Hi, does anyone know of a method to measure blood oxalate levels accurately from samples stored at -20 or -80 for months to years? Is it possible?

I know the Mayo Clinic lab uses an ion chromatography method that requires immediate acidification and centrifugation of samples and samples to remain on ice. Sigma makes a research kit that uses spectrophomometry.

Any one familiar with this test or others that i could use on old frozen blood samples.

Thanks!
