Hi,

I am just curious to know about the NMDA receptor patch clamp studies.

There are huge number of research papers are available and plethora of information available on NMDA receptor.

Very recently I started electrophysiology studies on NMDA. In the bath chamber after exposing to the ligand (Using theta pipette perfusion with ultrafast piezo movement- 'Glutamate') the cell health (HEK 293) is effecting and unable to patch properly. I have some antagonists but cost point of view, I want to use low antagonist or some other way to overcome the present problem. Is external application of (in bath) MgCl2 will help? please let me know any one ...

Best,
