The crab was caught at Agona Swedru in the Central region of Ghana. They occupy swampy areas and live in burrows filled with water. The pictures provided shows the upper side, underside and the frontal view.
Judging from the distribution, habitat type and the few pictures I have seen I think it may be Liberonautes sp. Either L. ladidactylus or L. chaperi, I cannot be sure but 'The Freshwater Crabs of West Africa: Family Potamonautidae' by Neil Cumberlidge is a helpful book in this regard.
