Hello All,

I am doing a herbicide bioassay in glasshouse. I have to calculate the amount of herbicide solution required to prepare 1 PPM of solution. The active constituents of herbicide are as follows .

Chemical A - 33 g/L

Chemical B - 15 g/L

I did following calculations to prepare 2 L of solution

Amount of product to add = Desired PPM x Volume/Product concentration

= 1 PPM x 2 L /(33 g/L+15 g/L)

I added A and B together as product concentration

416 micro liter in 2 liter of water will give 1 PPM concentration. Could you please let me know whether this calculation is correct? If not could you please tell me how to do this kind of calculation. Thanks.
