Hi there!

It's my first time doing dynamic mechanical analysis, and I have some questions that you could hopefully help me.

The analysis I have made consisted in applying a fixed deflection on the samples (I have used two different polymers) with a fixed frequency (1Hz) and isothermal (30ºC) condition. I have also analyzed the behavior of the stress over time.

When analyzing the storage and loss modulus values I have observed that: in one of the materials the loss modulus shows a sharp peak early in the test, whereas in the other polymer this occurred only at the end of the test. What does that mean? Does it make sense to analyze the loss module over time?
