Since I'm a true devotee of the sheer endless capabilities of microorganisms, I'm working on an urban project aiming for autarky and sustainability based on those fantastic archoorganisms.

Also appreciated is information about mo emitting 'relevant' quantities of light (bioluminescence).

i think it is phytoplankton which glows in the night that is relevant for plant growth.
I would be surprised if you could generate sufficient illumination to support crop plant growth by bioluminescence, but it would be cool.
You would need such a bioluminescence signal that were capable of emitting light at chlorophyl A and B absorption wavelength (420nm and 460nm respectively).
