I am a DNP student currently working as a clinical nurse in the pediatric PeriAnesthesia environment. Adults, have several ERAS protocols or pathways, which are improving patient outcomes. This time last year there was a paucity of data about the pediatric population. I have read a couple of articles that mention the John's Hopkins pilot and would be most interested to use the pathway and know of the audit tool you used. I have advocated for a standardized process for some time and am excited to read about you and your fellow collaborators' work. As an aside, would there be any surgery that would not benefit from this thought process for our pediatric population, do you think? I look forward to hearing from you and your team.
