Hello, can someone help me doing my research please? honestly this is my first time doing a research in school, for professional development and of course I really want to learn how to do it smoothly and a little expert I want to involve my self in the world of research, but the problem is I dont know how to continue it. The responsibility for this lies mainly with your institution. They should be teaching you research methods and supporting you through the research process.
Sites like ResearchGate can help with filling in the cracks of your understanding, not with constructing the main building.
You don't give us many elements to guide you. So one of the answers is logical: first, learn research methods; but I guess you already know something about that. The question is what you want to do with your research, for example, a) improve your classes or b) publish it. If it's the former, focus on how to get your students to learn more; choose the topic that you have the most trouble to overcome. If you want to publish, then: 1) focus specifically on one journal; a journal quartile 1 (Q1) is a lot harder to publish than a Q4. Once you have selected a journal consult published articles to find out what topics, research methods, structure, and length have to do something similar and 2) find a more experienced colleague interested in publishing.

What is your research question? What do you want to find out? Start with that. And share it with us so we can further advise. Reading up on Creswell, as advised above, and looking up Action Research, which is ideal for schools, will inform you better before diving into it.

Hi Kent,
The method needs to follow the research question, and then the hypotheses if you have a few.
You have a YouTube channel in science you want to study. Good. What do you want to know about it? Engagement levels, application of learning in homework...? What is your interest in it? What do you want to find out?
In the meantime, study t-tests if you think, intuitively, it makes sense. But again, be sure not to jump to decisions that need a more solid base first.

First of all, find out the research problem, what compel you to research, passion to research is appreciating, develop a rationale too. Make a discussion and observe your surroundings.
Methodology is a must, though still not clear what is the main objective(s)!

But first of all you should make some preparation on your own experience, and do what Ph.D. Daniela Rubio Rius and Ph.D. Hussin Jose Heajese have recommended: put on paper the research question as you understand it and write your main objective.
That work takes time. But you may do it easily:
1- write RQ- research question and O- objective.
2 - leave these away for 2-4 hours.
3 - read RQ and O again, make corrections for more clear explanation what do you want to say.
4 - leave it away for 4-6 hours.
5 - make a scheme or picture of what you wrote. That will help you specify the essence of RQ and understand the O of your research.
