please I found things thay sesms like mosquito eggs at the first glance but when I looked hard they seems like smal worms they stay at the surface of water and they gather in groups I would like to know what they are
unfortunately they are not eggs, I was looking for mosquito eggs and when I return home I found that they are not, when I used magnifying glass I found that they moove as worms. what caught my attention is their gathering at the surface of water, you can easely see them on the water surfaces in rafts and even you try to separate them they gather again. when I get my microscope I will try to take a nother photo.
What kind of water is this? The description sounds like how Anurida maritima behave (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anurida_maritima) though these are marine. The photo is of insufficient resolution to make any details out though
They're not pupae? Mosquito pupae move and often bunch up at the surface, depending on the species. As stated in the post above, it's really hard to tell much from that photo's resolution.
Hard to say anything with that resolution - but my first impression was that it could be springtails (Collembola)? There are some species aggregating at water surfaces, e.g. Podura sp.
Definately not mosquito eggs. One would like a better photo and knowledge of the water type or quality to give a good view. Looking forward to see that better photo.
