I have tried to submit my work to few journals these past months and I keep getting the same response from the editors, saying too many manuscripts is being processed in these journals and my work is not their priority. What can we do about this? Any tips?
I think you should give your manuscript to someone more experienced in your field to read, and assist you with editing according to the journal specification. Also you must ensure that the paper is relevant to the journal. Inaddition, you should make sure the manuscript brings out new information or added knowledge with strong evidence. If you have done all of the above then don't give up you can try other journals.
Paper will not be rejected from a journal due to too many submission . Acceptance and rejection depends upon the quality of the subject matter of the paper.
Its just a polite rejection and not the actual reason, improve your paper and send it to another journal.
