We are using N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC or ACC) for those out-patients complain from coughing, shortness of breathing, dyspnea, or smoking. Our periscribed dose is 1-3 tablets/day (divided each 24-8 hours), respectively. We combine NAC with dexamethasone orally or by injection.

For critical case (O2 saturation nearly 70%), 2 tablets (stat) in combination with dexamethasone (8 mg, IV/IM) is useful.
